Joseph & Jacob frames are made entirely from cellulose acetate sourced from Mazzucchelli 1849, a global leader renowned for the quality and craftsmanship of its materials for over 170 years. This premium acetate is prized for its durability, comfort, rich color depth, and exquisite finishes. Our choice of Mazzucchelli reflects our commitment to offering durable, elegant frames crafted from premium materials, in line with Joseph & Jacob’s exacting quality standards.
Joseph & Jacob sunglasses feature TR18 Nylon lenses, a material known for its lightness, durability, and high optical quality. This type of lens offers excellent visual comfort while ensuring high resistance to impact and distortion. All our lenses feature UV400 protection, filtering out 100% of UVA and UVB rays to effectively protect your eyes every day.
The blue light-blocking lenses used by Joseph & Jacob will be from the Novacel Optical brand. Made from organic material to ensure lightness and visual comfort, they will feature treatments developed by Novacel, including selective filtration of harmful blue light, a high-performance anti-reflective coating, enhanced UV protection, and a hardened coating that improves resistance to scratches and
daily wear and tear.
